Trini Kids Club is an innovative subscription service founded by Nalini and Avinash Maharaj. It is dedicated to engaging and enriching the lives of children in categories aged 4 – 6 years and 7 – 10 years by providing interactive, fun and educational content. Our core mission is to transform passive consumption into active, imaginative and skill-building play, directly addressing the modern challenge of preserving childhood curiosity and exploration.

Nalini Maharaj

My career was always in the corporate sector, but a new chapter began when I resigned to care for our three-year-old son. This meant diving into online classes and creating a world of fun, interactive learning games just for him. I had the joy of teaching him to read before he turned three and write during his preschool year, preparing him for primary school at four.

This experience showed me just how essential it is to make learning exciting and engaging. While my background is in Marketing, I found true satisfaction in helping a little one thrive. This idea was born from that journey, and my lifelong love for children. It brings me immense joy to interact with them and help in any way I can. My hope is that through this, you’ll find the help and support to inspire your child/children, making learning both fun and profoundly important.

Avinash Maharaj

My professional life has been diverse, including a corporate background and an Associate’s Degree complemented by certifications in areas such as environmental technology, quality assurance, health & safety, and various therapeutic massage techniques (Swedish, Orthopaedic, Sports, and Reiki). However, it’s the easy-going, joyful interaction with children that truly brings me happiness and a sense of calm that these other qualifications didn’t.

Working with Nalini, we’ve gained valuable experience leading Tai Chi for children aged 5-10. This has solidified our commitment to providing thoughtful care that minimizes stress and promotes engaging, fun learning experiences. I also facilitate mindfulness sessions, guiding children to “stop, think, and do.” This practice helps them develop self-awareness and thoughtful decision-making skills.
